Maruti Grand Vitara Price Hike: The cost of Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara has gone up. It has now become more expensive by Rs 4000. The pricing of the hybrid SUV is currently Rs 18.29 lakh (ex-showroom), and it can go as high as Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The manufacturer has upgraded the hybrid versions’ safety features, which is also the cause of the price increase.

Maruti Grand Vitara Price Hike: Reason behind the price hike
The automaker announced in a regulatory filing that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara hybrid models will now include the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS). It adds to the vehicle’s already comprehensive list of safety features, which also includes six airbags (front, side and curtain), an electronic stability programme (ESP) with hill hold assist, three-point ELR seat belts across the board, front and rear disc brakes, ABS + EBD, hill descent control and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

A 1.5-liter engine powers the cutting-edge Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid. It has several drive settings, including EV, Eco, Power, and Normal. Depending on the driving conditions, the arrangement can also utilise the combined power of the two powertrains. The Li-ion battery pack of the Maruti Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid has a standard warranty of 8 years/160,000 miles. It has an e-CVT gearbox option and has the best fuel efficiency in its class of 27.97 km/l.
