Its been almost four years since AB de Villers had announced his retirement from the International cricket but still the speculations of his comeback are high.
Before every mega tournament ABD comes in to the fray for getting selected for it but later due to various permutations and combination the dream remains just a dream for many cricket lovers.
This time South African Head coach and ABD himself has earlier stated that they are in talks to go ahead if he performs in IPL.
AB de Villers was the leading run-getter for his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore in this year’s IPL. He was playing at Number 5 and South Africa too are struggling for a master in the middle order for the World T20 which will take place in India in October.
Meanwhile, the biggest news is Cricket South Africa director Graeme Smith has today confirmed that South Africa will travel to Windies for 2 Test and 5 T20Is and he also stated that AB De Villers is hopeful to play the series against the Windies in June.
“Cricket South Africa Director Graeme Smith has today confirmed that SA will travel to WI in June for 2 Tests and 5 T20Is at venues yet to be finalized. He also said he is hopeful of free agents AB De Villiers, Imran Tahir, and Chris Morris playing” said the tweet shared by the Caribbean Cricket Podcast.
