Kanpur news: Bollywood has been an integral part of our lives. Our heroes are our idols, motivating us to be the best version of ourselves. However, there can be some repercussions too as we, mostly children, do not know where to draw the line. In a recent incident, a third-grade student from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, imitated an action from a movie by jumping from the first floor of his school. The kid was reportedly motivated by the superhero film Krrish.
Student jumps from the first floor
The young student at the Virendra Swarup Education Centre in Kidwai Nagar jumped from the first floor of the education centre to perform the heroics of India’s own superhero Krrish. As per the media report, the child has sustained terrible injuries to his face and legs. CCTV footage of the incident was obtained, which shows the child imitating the life-threatening stunt.
The student is from the Anil Colony neighbourhood in Kanpur’s Babu Purva district. The CCTV footage revealed that he leapt from the first-floor railing while it was still class time. He was taken urgently to a private hospital after suffering injuries.
The tragic leap
The horrific account was captured on the school’s CCTV camera. The video shows the student making the tragic leap implying that he acted alone in making the plunge.
In a confession to his mother, the child admitted to his mother that he was inspired by Krrish, wanting to pull off daring feats of valour like him. Principal Nandita Mali said that although some of his classmates were there when he made the choice, he made his own choice.
