To control the pace of the corona pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh government has extended the corona curfew or partial lockdown for a week.
In a review meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Team-9, the decision has been taken to pursue the lockdown. Now this curfew will remain in force till 17 May.
It is worth noting that before this, the weekend lockdown was extended till 7.00 am on May 10.
However, now the government has extended it till May 17 in preparation to eliminate Corona from its roots.
Along with this, on 14 May, there is the festival of Eid. In such a situation, the government does not want to take any risk.
It is believed that this time some more strictures can also be increased.
CM Yogi has given this order after the effect of effective success on Covid infection. The term of partial corona curfew has been extended till 17 May.
This period also marks the festival of Eid, although all restrictions will apply on that day. To break the chain of infection of Corona virus, the government had decided to impose lockdown with restrictions in the state.
Formerly the lockdown was extended till May 10, which has now been extended by 7 days.
After meeting the CM, the Additional Chief Secretary said that all the restrictions will be continued till 7 am on May 17.
During this period, people will be allowed to move only for essential services.
Corona lockdown has been in place since April 30 in UP and the government is continuously increasing its duration.
