WhatsApp: A feature that allows users to transfer chats, support for video calls in landscape format, and the ability to block incoming calls are all being widely rolled out by WhatsApp, one of the most popular instant messaging apps.
Users of iOS devices can download the most recent version of WhatsApp from the App Store to get the conversation transfer functionality, as well as the landscape mode support for video calls and the option to block incoming calls.
WhatsApp is reportedly introducing three new features, according to WABetaInfo, a website that analyses WhatsApp.
WhatsApp for iOS to get new features
According to what the name implies, Apple iPhone users will now be able to take advantage of WhatsApp video conversations with a broader view and display. In addition to this, WhatsApp is introducing a feature that would silence unauthorised callers. By heading to Settings > Privacy > Calls, users may now block unauthorised callers.
Additionally being rolled out by the platform is the option to natively transfer the whole account history when switching to a new device. Go to Settings > Chats > Transfer Chats to iPhone to utilise this option.
Users may control undesired calls or unknown calls more easily thanks to the Silence Unknown Callers feature, which enables them to avoid disruptions from unknown or unsaved numbers.
