Oppo A78: Oppo has introduced the A78 smartphone in India as part of an expansion of its A-series lineup. The smartphone, which belongs to the cheap phone category, is available in Aqua Green and Mist Black. The Oppo A78 features a 2.5D right-angled central frame, softened edges, and an ultra-slim throwback style. The smartphone goes on sale today at a price of Rs 17,499 in India. It can be bought from traditional brick and mortar stores, the Oppo online store, and Flipkart.
Know about the display
The Oppo A78 has a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz. It is an L1 Widevine certified AMOLED display. The phone’s screen has an intelligent adaptive illumination system.
Battery and OS
The phone is powered by ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13. The 5,000mAh battery within the Oppo A78 is powered by 67W SUPERVOOCTM fast charging technology. According to Oppo, the phone can charge up to 73% in 30 minutes and reach 100% in roughly 45.
Memory and processor
The Oppo A78 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The device accepts microSD cards to add an additional 1TB of storage. Additionally, using Oppo’s RAM expansion technology, RAM may be increased by an additional 8GB from storage.
Oppo A78: Cameras
The A78 has a 50MP main camera for taking pictures and a 2MP depth camera for creating subtle bokeh in photos. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP camera on the front. Additionally supported by the device is the Dual-View Video feature, which permits simultaneous recording from both the front and back cameras in order to combine the footage into a single frame for imaginative vlogs.
