Lucknow News: In Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, and Shravasti schools, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department has put the Netherlands-designed early warning system into place. The programme tries to stop children from quitting school. A student is tracked by the authorities under the system, and if the student misses more than 40 days of class, parents (or guardians) are notified and the youngster is ensured that they return to school.

Vijay Kiran Anand, the director general of basic education, published a letter calling for the deployment of the early warning system used in the Netherlands.
School Principals Take Charge with Dropout Prevention Strategies
“Under the initiative, school principals have been directed to work on reducing student absenteeism by developing a response strategy and helping students who are on the verge of dropout to stay connected with the school,” said an education department official.
