Ghaziabad News: The Ghaziabad Railway Station will be renovated with a budget of over 364 crore under the Amrit Bharat Scheme. The renovation is likely to be completed in the next 30 months. The Foundation stone of the Railway station has been laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via Video Conferencing. Vijay Nagar and city sides of the Station will also be renovated under the plan. Apart from the renovation of the Railway Station, a New Foot over bridge, Electric Substations and Parking area for commuters will also be constructed.
The Station will have New Passenger Waiting Rooms
The New Plan will also have the development of a Concourse level to connect both sides from Vijay Nagar to the city side. New Passenger Waiting Rooms and New Platforms will also be rebuilt. Since the Population of the city has increased over the years, also many people from other cities have also come to the city, it needs a complete Renovation.

During the laying of the Foundation Stone, Prime Minister Modi said that his government is trying to make Rail Travel more comfortable and accessible for the Passengers. Prime Minister said our goal is to provide best possible experience from train to station.
