Noida News: The Noida Authority has taken the initiative to give life to the Lohia Drain which has lost its life over the years and have been dried up due to negligence and encroachments around that area. Now finally the Noida authority with the help of Environmentalists and experts will work on the project and try to revive the dead drain by adding features. The authority has also decided to build a beach around that area which is spread over 250 acres. The beach will have lots of other features like ponds, parks etc.
‘We’ll build Cycling Tracks, Pedestrian Roads for People’
According to the Noida Authority official, once the project is complete this will be beneficial in lot of ways, for example it will save the Rain water for future use which usually over flows during Monsoon and leads to water logging in the near by areas. The authority is planning to built other comfort zones for the people living around the area, like walking path for Pedestrians, Cycling track etc.
‘Lohia Drain has been neglected for long’
The current parks and the Cycle tracks are in a bad shape and they need attention in different areas, so the authority is planning to work on all the sides one by one. According to experts the Lohia drain has been damaged by seasonal calamities, encroachments etc which needs extra attention.
