iQoo Z8 will allegedly go on sale in China next month, expanding the company’s line of Z smartphones. The phone’s precise specifications, including its processor, RAM, display, and camera capabilities, were been leaked on Weibo ahead of formal announcements. The rumoured MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC for the iQoo Z8 is said to be coupled with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The device is anticipated to successor the iQoo Z7, which was introduced in India earlier this year.
iQOO Z8: Display and processor
A Weibo tweet from tipster Digital Chat Station claims that iQoo is developing the iQoo Z8, which might be unveiled as soon as next month, as a replacement for the iQoo Z7. A MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC is expected to power the reported iQoo Z8 smartphone, along with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, according to the report, the phone will include a 6.64-inch flat LCD screen with full-HD+ quality and a fast refresh rate. It could also have a cutout for the camera with a hole in the centre on the front.
Cameras and battery
A 64-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) capability and a 2-megapixel macro camera are expected to make up the dual back camera on the phone. The next iQoo Z8 is said to include a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and movies. The smartphone is also anticipated to run OriginOS 3.0, which is based on Android 13. A 5,000mAh battery might be used to power it, and 120W rapid charging is supported.
