Donald Trump: On Thursday, former US President Donald Trump turned himself in at an Atlanta jail, resulting in his official arrest in the case of election fraud. Trump will now have to go through the mug photo procedure. He’ll be the first previous US president to see the mug shot of Donald Trump. It is known as a “mug shot” in the US when police take pictures of an accused person’s face. It is well known that the previous president had planned to rig Georgia’s 2020 presidential election.
Supporters Rally Around Trump
Numerous supporters gathered to see Trump wave the American flag and Trump’s banner as soon as he arrived at the jail, according to the news agency Reuters. US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, one of the previous president’s most devoted legislative aides, was among the Trump backers gathered outside. At the same time, Lyle Raverth, 49, a member of the Atlanta area aviation industry, had been waiting close to the jail since Thursday morning for ten hours.
Trump’s 13 Counts of Accusation in Georgia
In Georgia, Trump is accused of violating 13 different counts, including ones involving fraud and perjury. Mark Meadows, a former Trump advisor, turned himself up earlier in Fulton County. The county’s website states that he was arrested. One of Meadows’ 18 co-defendants is charged with aiding Trump’s scheme to rig the 2020 presidential election.
