Ranchi News: After the launch of the Vande Bharat express, the smart city is going to launch new Giridh Intercity express from September-12th. The Giridh Intercity Express will run via Muri, Barkakana, Hazaribagh, Kodarma and Dhanwar. The train will stop at eight stations including Koderma and it will have 13 coaches. The Bookings for the train is also likely to start soon. The train will stop at Jamua, Dhanwar, Maheshpur, Hazaribagh. The train will be flagged off at 10am. All the Preparation have started after the notification has been given from the Railways.
Direct Train Service to Kolkata will benefit People
The Giridh District Chamber of Commerce said that Giridh Railway station under the Asansol Division of Eastern Railways has been in existence for over 152 years. Despite of the fact, no train was running from here to Asansol and Kolkata. The direct train service to Kolkata will benefit a lot of people of Giridh.
This is the second train after Vande Bharat Express
Like the Vande Bharat Express, the Giridh Intercity express will also benefit lakhs of passengers. Apart from this launch of this new train is also seen as the source of revenue for the Indian Railways. After Vande Bharat Express this is the second biggest rail which is starting from the smart city Ranchi.
