Asia Cup 2023: Everyone is hyped up for the India vs Pakistan clash. It looks like the match can’t come sooner. With just one day left for the match, Star Sports officially released a hype video for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
The hype teaser is titled ‘Ro-Ko’ and features glimpses of the best performances by the duo in the Asia Cup. It features glimpses from 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and even 2022. This clip can make anyone excited.
The clip also featured the captains of all participating nations and just warned them to beware of the duo. Because we know, if these two are in form, no matter who the bowler is, the destination will always be the same.
Asia Cup 2023: Performances Over The Years
The duo has been brutal in the continental tournament over the years. The Indian skipper has played 22 matches in the tournament, and Virat Kohli has only played 11 matches and batted for 10 innings.
Rohit Sharma has scored 745 runs in the 21 innings he has played in the ODI format of the Asia Cup. He averages 46.56 runs per inning with a strike rate of 84.94. His highest score in the competition is 111*.
On the other hand, Virat has only played 10 innings but has scored a whopping 613 runs with an insane average of 61.30. His highest score is 183 runs which he scored against Pakistan.
Ready For The Tournament
The whole Indian team is ready for their campaign in Asia Cup 2023 to start. They have prepared well and have worked on their weaknesses. The six-day national camp at Bangalore looked positive as players got into the mood and looked intense.
