The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to raise the toll charges at the Ladowal toll plaza situated along the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway. It’s important to note that this toll hike only applies to regular toll payments and does not impact the rates for monthly passes, which remain unchanged.
The new rates have come into effect from today with an increase of about 10 per cent
Ladowal Toll Plaza Manager Gaurav Kwatra said, “The new rates have come into effect from today with an increase of about 10 per cent, which will remain in effect till August 31 next year.”
He further said, “The National Highway Authority of India increases toll rates every year. Under this, now on a single journey you will have to pay Rs 165 for car, Rs 285 for minibus, Rs 575 for bus and truck and Rs 925 for big vehicles.”
