Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is one of the much-anticipated films of the year. The advance bookings were opened after the release of the trailer and it hyped the audience for the film. The excitement is real and the audience is enthralled to see Shah Rukh Khan in a never-seen-before avatar in the Atlee-directed Jawan. His film is creating quite a stir on social media even before the release as the audience is excited to witness the magic of Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration. Advance booking numbers are quite impressive for makers and now Shah Rukh Khan reacted to the sale of over 5 lakh tickets.
Advance booking reaches the 5 lakh mark
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, a total of 5,77,255 Jawan tickets have been sold. In the Hindi market, 5,29,568 2D tickets were sold, and 11,558 IMAX tickets were purchased. The Tamil and Telugu markets each sold 19,899 and 16,230 tickets. This brings the film’s total earnings to Rs 16.93 crore.
According to Manobala Vijayabalan, a film trade analyst, Jawan’s main source of revenue is from national multiplexes. While PVR recorded a total ticket sales of 1,12,299, INOX sold 75,661 tickets, followed by Cinepolis’ 40,577 tickets. The residents of Hyderabad are most excited to see Shah Rukh in action since the city has sold the most tickets (58,898).

Shah Rukh hosted a #AskSRK session on his Twitter (now X) account and responded to the questions of his fans. A fan asked him if the numbers of advance bookings were real or fake. Replying to that, SRK wrote, “Yeh social media waali ghatia baatein mat karo yaar. Have positive thoughts and good feelings for all. Better for life.”
