On Tuesday, September 5th, Tewatia shared the news on his social media accounts, revealing the arrival of his first child. The 30-year-old cricketer had exchanged wedding vows with Ridhi on November 29, 2021. Taking to Instagram, Rahul wrote, “Today, we went from two to three. She’s here! She’s here today. Beautiful and Sweet.”
Numerous Indian celebrities, including Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, and many more, expressed their congratulations and well wishes to the couple as they embarked on their journey into parenthood.
Rahul gained widespread fame during the 2020 IPL season while playing as a finisher for the Rajasthan Royals, where he achieved considerable success. The left-handed batsman’s impressive performance earned him his first call-up to the Indian cricket team in 2021, specifically for a T20I series against England. However, despite his selection, he did not make his debut on the international stage.
