IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023: Rain has been the real villain and biggest hurdle in these India vs Pakistan matches so far. Both of the matches have been washed out on the first day. But thankfully, the Super 4 round match has a reserved day.
But with the weather being so unpredictable there is a huge doubt that the reserve day will go on without any worries. It is possible that the match will be stopped once again as the rain will be pouring down from the sky.
And if the reserve day is also washed out, Indian team might be in huge trouble. There path to the finals will get really hard. Let’s take a look at what will happen if the reserve day is also washed out.
Sharing A Point
If the reserve day is also washed out then both India and Pakistan will share a point. This will be helpful for Pakistan but will be trouble for the Men In Blues. While Pakistan has already defeated Bangladesh, sharing a point with India will take them right at the top of the table.
This is India’s first match in the Super 4 round. Sharing a point means they will have to win their next two matches at every cost to qualify for the finals. Now, this might look easy on paper, but there is a problem here as well.
Every match of India is in Sri Lanka and with the weather is so unpredictable right now. There is a slight chance that those matches might get washed up as well. So, India might end up sharing points in all three matches. In that case Sri Lanka will qualify for the final as they have already defeated Bangladesh.
