KBC 15: One of the longest-running game shows in the history of Indian Television is responsible for putting smiles on the faces of individuals and families across the nation. Apart from the show’s competitive nature and the way it sparks curiosity among viewers, one of the major reasons behind its popularity is its most charming host, Amitabh Bachchan. In the latest episode of the show, a contestant used up his first lifeline for the second question itself which was worth Rs. 3000. This left Big B in a total state of shock.
Contestant uses lifeline for Rs. 3000 question on KBC 15
On the latest episode of KBC 15 something happened that left its host Amitabh Bachchan in a complete state of shock. Contestant Shubham Gangrade started off on the 22nd episode of the show with the first question worth Rs. 1000, “Which of these terms refers to refilling the balance in your phone to pay the service provider?” The four options provided were: Hotspot, Auto Rotate, Sleep mode, Recharge. Shubham immediately locked the correct answer and won Rs. 1000 easily. However, the shocker came with the second question which was worth Rs. 3000.
The second question for Rs. 3000 was, “Which of these instruments has air pumped into it by hand while playing?” The options that followed were: Tabla, Harmonium, Damru, Guitar. Not coming from a musical background, Shubham fell into a predicament. He might have even guessed the answer, but he was not able to place his finger on it. The time was moving fast and Shubham had to make a call. Finally, he decided to go for his first lifeline ‘Audience Poll.’ The audience did the obvious and chose the correct answer, ‘Harmonium.’ Shubham locked it in and won Rs. 3000.
Amitabh Bachchan’s reaction to Shubham’s action
When the comical incident was wrapped up and Shubham had won the prize money worth Rs. 3000, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his surprise. The veteran actor said, “Shubham brother, why were you confused? Do we fill the air in tabla? Do we fill the air in damru? Have you not seen the harmonium (box)? It is played by filling the air in it.”
