Twitter India MD Manish Maheshwari will appear before the police at 10.30 am today, in connection with the viral video of an elderly muslim man being beaten and beard being cut off in Loni, Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
Action in case organisation doesn’t comply with order
In a second notice sent to Twitter India MD Maneesh Maheshwari, Ghaziabad Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Pathak warned action under Section 41 A (notice of appearance before police officer) of the CrPC can be taken in case the organisation doesn’t comply with the order.
