Bihar Weather Update: Monsoon is once again active in the state giving relief to people from the humidity and sun. It’s been raining in the 14 districts of Bihar since morning in Jehanabad, Shekhpura, Jamui, Vaishali, Nalanda, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Munger, katihar, Nawada, Supaul, Buxar and Saharsa. Many areas of Patna like Boring Road, Nehru Nagar, Kadam Kuan, Pataliputra and kankenbagh received Heavy Rains. According to the Met Department, Rains will continue for the next 3 days. It was raining last night in Kishenganj and Purnia and the temperature has dropped down to 7.5 degrees.
IMD Predicts Red Alert for Supaul
Met Department Predicts Heavy Rain Alert in 12 districts including Patna. Warning of Red Alert has been issued for Supaul and Orange Alert has been issued for Madhubani, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Patna and Samastipur. Madhubani, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Patna and Samastipur. Apart from this, areas like Muzaffarpur, Shivhar, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Munger and Sitamarhi are likely to receive heavy rainfall. Many states witness drop in temperature with the sudden onset of Rains.
Temperature dropped in Many Areas due to Rains
Maximum Temperature in Patna is recorded at 2.4 degrees, Vaishali is 3.4 degrees and Muzaffarpur’s temperature is recorded at 2.9 degrees, kishenganj is recorded at 7.5 degrees.
