Apple iPhone 15 Pro Action Button: What is it?
This time, the iconic mute button has been replaced by an action button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The phone can be set into quiet and ring modes with the use of the action button, and it can also be customised, meaning you can use this action button specifically or as a shortcut. The new action button can also be used for tasks like starting the camera and taking notes.
Things you can use the action button for
To begin with, the Action button’s default settings are for its mute and unmute capabilities. But you can change the function. The functions available are:
- Shortcut for Apps
- Magnifier
- Flashlight
- Camera
- Focus
- Accessibility
- Silent Mode
You can also assign a custom shortcut to the action button. You can make a shortcut in the shortcut app and then assign it to the action button.
