As reported by Hindustan Times, On a 70-acre plot of state-owned SIL land, the government of Uttar Pradesh now wants to build an EV park. A manufacturing facility for e-buses has been chosen on the remaining 70 acres of SIL property by Ashok Leyland, one of the top commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world.
Manoj Kumar Singh, Infrastructure and industrial development commissioner, said, “We propose to set up an EV park on 70 acres of the 140-acre land of SIL. Ashok Leyland is also setting up an e-bus manufacturing unit on the remaining 70 acres of this land.”
