Tata Motors Sales September 2023: India’s Renowned Automaker, Tata Motors have recorded a 2 percent rise in domestic sales with 82,023 Unit sold in September 2023 compared to 80,633 Units sold in September 2022.
On October 1, the company released a press release in which it made clear mentions all the up and downs for all the categories of the vehicle in the manufacturer’s portfolio. Have a look at the categorywise positives and negatives of the automaker’s sales below.
Tata Motors Sales September 2023: Passenger Vehicles
Talking about the automaker’s Passenger Vehicle domestic Sales, it recorded a 6 percent decrease with 44809 Units sold in September 2023 in comparison with 47654 Units sold in September 2022.
Tata Motors Sales September 2023: Electric Vehicles
The company has recorded a significant growth in electric vehicle sales including international markets, as the press release states, the autoamke has recorded 57 Percent increase with 6050 Units sold as compared to 3864 Units sold in September 2022.
The automaker’s Passenger Vehicle portfolio performed well in the second quarter mainly because of the pre festive offers and new launches.
Tata Motors Sales September 2023: Commercial Vehicle Sales
In a press release, the automakes has recorded 12 percent growth with 39064 Units sold last month as compared to 34890 Units sold last year in the same month.
Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. said, “Passenger vehicle sales remained strong in Q2 FY24 driven by new launches and pre-festive offtakes. Tata Motors posted quarterly sales of 1,38,939 cars and SUVs in Q2 FY24, ~2.7% below our highest ever quarter, Q2 FY23. Our EV business continues its strong momentum and has posted growth of about 55% year- on-year. In Q2 FY24, we extended our innovative twin-cylinder CNG offering to Tiago, Tigor and P been received well by the market.
