Krafton India Gaming Incubator: Battlegrounds India maker Krafton has launched the India Gaming Incubator Program. This is slated to be a positive initiative to help aspiring game developers in the country. Krafton has began calll-for-entries for the program. The nee development aims to expand and boost the a rapidly growing gaming ecosystem.
Krafton India Gaming Incubator: Details
The new program objectives are to incubate 6-10 teams yearly and the program duration will be around six months to one year. Krafton will provide them with all the required help, mentorship and all resources. The company has informed that the financial support offered via “Krafton India Incubator Program” will range between $50000-$150000, it will depend on the requirements of the incubated startup.
The newly launched Program is mainly concerned for early-stage startups which also includes those who are in conception stage. The company will consider independent developers and student teams actively for the incubation.
KIGI will be more inclined towards dedicated game developers who are ready to excel, open to be mentored and partner with Krafton. Real money gaming based game developers will not be consider for the program.
KIGI: Mentors For The Program
Particpants selected by krafton for Krafton India Gaming Incubator will be mentored by expert game developers and industry executives and experts from South Korea and India. The company will provide them access of its internal resources which also includes market research and data analytics.
Dave Curd, currently Creative Director of PUBG Studios, and former Art Director of Raven Software, and Harns Kims said, “Currently Game Producer at Krafton and former Live Service Producer of TERA at Bluehole Studios, are amongst the notable names that will form part of the mentoring and guidance teams at KIGI”.
After the end of the programs, partcipants will be alsp permitted to publish their products, receives investment for capital accumulation and more.
