Actress Yami Gautam has been summoned by the ED. Yami has been called for questioning in violation of FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act). The investigation is being done by Zone 2 of ED in Mumbai. This second summon has been issued to the actress.
Yami has been asked to appear on July 7. Yami’s personal bank account involved foreign exchange transactions, which she reportedly did not inform the authorities about. Sources say that some transactions have come under the scanner and after preliminary investigation, it was found that the bank accounts are linked to Yami Gautam, after which summons were issued.
Yami Gautam is a popular actress. She has worked in many Bollywood films. She has been a part of films like Uri, Kaabil, Sanam Re, Ginni Weds Sunny, Vicky Donor, Bala, Badlapur, Total Siyapa.
She will be seen in Abhishek Bachchan’s film Dasvi. Yami played the role of a constable Jyoti Deswal in the film. Apart from this, she will also be seen in the film Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
Yami Gautam was in discussion about her marriage recently. Yami is married to director Aditya Dhar. Yami and Aditya Dhar worked together in the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. After marriage, Yami has now returned to Mumbai and has started shooting for her next film.
