Patna News: As the festive season approaches, the Indian Railways has introduced three pairs of Puja special superfast trains connecting Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna and Gaya. This initiative aims to accommodate the influx of passengers traveling between Delhi and Bihar during Diwali and Chhath Puja.
The new trains provide a convenient option for passengers, especially since regular trains are often fully booked, with long waiting lists in various classes of sleeper and AC compartments.
Here are the details of the new Puja Special Superfast Trains:
For Train No. 03255/03256:
- Departure from Patna to Anand Vihar at 10:20 pm on Thursdays and Sundays from November 23 to December 10.
- Arrival at Anand Vihar at 3 pm.
- Return journey (Train No. 03256) from Anand Vihar to Patna at 11:30 pm on Fridays and Mondays from November 24 to December 11.
- Arrival in Patna the next day at 5:20 pm.
Stops on this route include Danapur, Arrah, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction, and Kanpur Central stations.
For Train No. 02391/02392:
- Departure from Patna at 10:20 pm every Saturday from November 25 to December 9.
- Arrival at Anand Vihar at 3 pm the next day.
- Return journey (Train No. 02392)
