Stock Market Today: GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX up by 25 points to 19725.50, indicating that Dalal Street was off to a good start on Monday. According to the daily chart, the positive chart pattern of higher tops and bottoms is still intact, and Friday’s swing low of 19635 might be deemed a new higher bottom of the sequence. Today, HDFC Bank, Grasim, Federal Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, ICICI Securities, and a plethora of other corporations will report second-quarter earnings.
Rupee falls; Tokyo stocks opened lower
Due to soaring crude oil prices internationally and a negative trend in domestic markets, the rupee lost 6 paise to trade at 83.30 against the US dollar on Friday. Tokyo equities began lower on Monday, following declines in US technology shares.In early trade, the Nikkei 225 index was down 1.05 percent, or 340.27 points, at 31,975.72, while the wider Topix index was down 0.82 percent, or 19.01 points, at 2,289.74.
Stock Market Today: Tata Motors agreed to sell 9.9 percent stake in IPO
Tata Motors said on October 13 that it has agreed to sell a 9.9 percent share in IPO-bound Tata Technologies to TPG Rise Climate SF Pte. Ltd, a climate oriented private equity fund, and Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation for Rs 1,613.7 crore, for an equity valuation of Rs 16,300 crore. TPG, which previously invested in Tata Motors’ electric car division, will acquire 9% of Tata Technologies, while Ratan Tata Endowment Fund (RTEF) will acquire the remaining 0.9 percent.
