Today, a meeting of the Union Cabinet has been held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in this the issue of ban on dearness allowance of central employees was kept, which was discussed and the cabinet has approved to remove the ban on it.
The DA of central employees was increased by four per cent in January 2020 and after that it was increased by three per cent in the second half. Then in January 2021 it was increased by four percent.
In this way, increasing the DA from 17 per cent to 28 per cent will bring huge benefits to the employees. Because the government had banned it since January last year. Now after the ban is lifted, the amount of all three installments will be available.
