Tata: The Indian firm Wistron, which assembles iPhones, has been purchased by the Tata Group. Rajeev Chandrashekhar, the Minister of State for Electronics and Technology, said on October 27 via the social networking site X that the Tata Group will now manufacture and assemble iPhones in India. The project is expected to be finished in 2.5 years, and the government would assist the Tata Group and other Indian electronics companies in their quest to form partnerships with international brands.
