Karwa Chauth 2023: On November 1st, this year, Karwa Chauth will be observed. Hindu customs dictate that married women maintain a Nirjala fast throughout the day in observance of their husbands’ long lives. Women worship the moon in the evening and break their fast by giving the moon Arghya. Although it’s customary for women to break their fast by sipping water from their husbands’ hands, this practise is improper. In actuality, one begins to experience physical weakness after keeping the Nirjala fast for the entire day. Breaking the fast with water in this scenario won’t provide you with energy right away.
Coconut Water
Coconut water has a high mineral content. Because it gives you energy right away, drinking coconut water instead of regular water when breaking your fast is therefore more advantageous.
Lemonade
Give lemon water priority if you want to sip water right away after breaking the fast. The body receives vitamins and minerals from drinking lemon water, which aids in supplying quick energy.
Dry fruits
If you’ve been fasting all day, wearing it on an empty stomach may make your stomach burn. In this case, you can eat dry fruits in place of directly consuming water. Following a meal with water is a wise choice.
Pomegranate juice
Pomegranate juice will help you break your fast without making you feel weak. Your body will become less lethargic and exhausted as a result of this.
Kaju Katli
Kaju Katli is a great option to break the fast if breaking it with sweets is a tradition in your household. You can follow this with a glass of water. You’ll maintain your energy by doing this.
