The Toyota Innova Hycross’s 2.0-liter petrol engine generates 197 Nm of torque and 172 horsepower. Conversely, the petrol-hybrid system makes use of the same 2.0-liter petrol engine but adds Toyota’s powerful hybrid technology from the fifth generation, resulting in a combined output of 183bhp. It is claimed that this gasoline-hybrid system will provide 21.1 kmpl of fuel efficiency. In contrast, the Maruti Invicto is propelled by a 2.0-liter petrol engine that is combined with an electric motor. The electric motor generates 11 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque, compared to 172 horsepower and 188 Nm of torque from the ICE version. There is only one gearbox available: an e-CVT unit.
