Mahindra Thar 5-Door: Mahindra is reportedly developing the larger Thar 5-door SUV, which has been seen testing in an almost-production version once more. The larger off-road vehicle will go on sale with the smaller 3-door model sometime in 2024. Further information was recently revealed when the production-ready Thar five-door was observed being tested.

The model’s external features, which take into account all of the prior spy photos, include a reworked back profile with new alloy wheels, pillar-mounted rear door handles, LED projector headlamps, fog lamps, and a new and revised front grille.
The cabin of the five-door Thar, however, is anticipated to undergo major modifications. The forthcoming off-road vehicle will include roof-mounted speakers, an electrically movable single-pane sunroof, and a lighter interior concept, as seen in the image. According to this, the five-door version of the lifestyle SUV is expected to come with more upscale features and interiors.
The remaining features, which include steering-mounted radio controls, power windows, cruise control, keyless entry, and a multi-info display, ought to be retained. Six airbags, electronic stability control, a rear parking camera and sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are all considered safety features.
Powertrain details
A somewhat more powerful version of the current 130 PS 2.2-litre diesel and 150 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol engine options should be available for the Thar 5-door. In addition to four-wheel drive, it should be available with rear-wheel drive.
