Ranchi News: The Government of India’s Smart City Mission, which is taking place in 100 cities across the nation, including Ranchi, will come to an end in 2024. Because of this, all of the smart cities are working hard to finish their projects on time. With funding from the Indian government, Ranchi Smart City is currently working on a total of 12 projects. Ninety-five percent of the work is done. In the upcoming months, Ranchi Smart City Corporation promises to finish all of the projects to the fullest extent possible.
Ranchi Smart City’s Eight Key Projects
In Ranchi Smart City, eight projects are being worked on as part of integrated infrastructure development efforts. Land development, streets, street lighting, drainage, sewage and STP, power distribution, water distribution, power infrastructure, and power for work projects are a few of these. This project has 96% of its work finished. Simultaneously, 95% of the GIS substation’s work has been finished. Hatia and Budmu Grid are to provide an electricity connection to the GIS sub station.
Budmu Grid Delay Impacting GIS Substation Completion
The sub station has been connected from Hatia; however, the project’s completion is delayed since the connection from Budmu has not yet arrived. Park development and landscaping have not yet begun due to ongoing construction. The company intends to finish this project by the end of June. Land in Ranchi Smart City will be distributed by auction to individual investors. A total of 375 acres must be set aside for the Smart City out of the 656 acres of land that total. However, the issue of land allocation has not yet yielded the anticipated success.
