Ducati Diavel: A partnership between Ducati and Bentley that offers motorcycle aficionados the best of both companies has been revealed. A limited-edition motorcycle known as the Ducati Diavel for Bentley honours the Batur, the company’s most powerful production vehicle to date. In this article, we will tell you all you must know about this amazing bike.
Limited Edition Bentley Batur-inspired Ducati Diavel
Design details
Although it includes important design cues from the Batur, the Ducati Diavel for Bentley maintains the strong lines of the Diavel V4. The motorcycle has polished chrome five-spoke Super Sport wheels with blue accents that match the original car’s metallic blue colour. Throughout the bodywork, Scarab Green, a shade from the Bentley Mulliner palette, is used.
Drawing inspiration from the interior of the Batur, the rider’s seat is coated in black Alcantara. An additional element of luxury is provided by the embroidered Bentley logo on the rear pad. Much carbon fibre is also used in the body panels of the limited-edition Ducati Diavel for Bentley.
Limited to 500 units
Apart from the 500 ordinary units of Diavel for Bentley, Ducati also provides a limited edition of 50 units known as Diavel for Bentley Mulliner. Only Mulliner customers will be able to purchase the 50 Diavel for Bentley motorcycles.
With regard to the saddle, front brake callipers, carbon fibre components, and rims, Mulliner versions in particular provide “different colours.” Additionally, customers can paint their bikes to match their cars and choose from an exclusive colour palette.
Powertrain details
With a 1,158cc V4 engine that produces 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm and 166.28 horsepower at 10,750 rpm, the Diavel for Bentley is mechanically identical to the DIavel V4.
The Diavel for Bentley can reach a maximum speed of 299 km/h when combined with the engine and a 6-speed transmission.
Price details
Naturally, all of functionality comes at a price; the 500 “standard” Diavel for Bentley motorcycles costs $70,000. Customers will have to fork up an impressive $90,000 for the Mulliner variant. The bikes will probably sell out quickly despite their premium price.
