The report states that there are 4.8 billion social media users across the world which comprises 92 per cent of internet users and 59.9 per cent of the global population. According to the report, an average social media user uses 6.7 different networks each month spending an average of 2 hours and 14 minutes per day across the platforms.
Why User Deleted Instagram the Most
As per the report’s findings, Instagram is the most deleted app of 2023. It further states that around 1 million people searched “How to delete my Instagram account” across the world. However, even after the mass population removed Instagram from their devices, the social media platform still managed to retain a large number of users on its platform
As per the report, Instagram still has 2.4 Billion active users across the world. But if users keep on this removing trend, the social media app can become a failure. But, as we know Meta frequently introduces upgrades to enhance the user experience of the app, and Instagram can surely manage this trend.
