Samsung Galaxy Ring: Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s first-ever smart ring, was debuted during the company’s 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung exclusively produced Galaxy smartwatches as health-related wearables before today. The massive tech behemoth has disclosed that it will adapt its “cutting edge” health innovations to the new form factor. In this article, we will share all we expect from this upcoming smart wearable.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: All we expect
Only the wearable’s name and design were disclosed by Samsung at the event. All things considered, it is likely that Samsung will give fitness tracking functions like blood oxygen level monitoring, step counter, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking, just like other smart rings.
The Galaxy Ring was previously expected to be able to track, measure, monitor, and upload data relating to fitness, sleep, and health to the appropriate software, just like the majority of other health and fitness trackers. The smart ring would monitor and evaluate “biometric and physiological data, vital signs, and personal health records,” according to a trademark petition. Depending on the information, it can also advise users to consult a doctor when necessary.
There was another leak that claimed the Samsung Galaxy Ring would have photoplethysmography (PPG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors. Since smart rings don’t need to have displays, they should also have a longer battery life than smartwatches. The smart ring’s functionality and other specifications have not yet been confirmed by the corporation.
Launch and price details
Samsung stated that the Galaxy Ring will be “coming soon,” but it withheld details regarding the device’s cost and release schedule. However, if we compare the Galaxy Ring to other of the most well-liked smart rings on the market, it is probably going to cost about $300.
