Extension of School Closures in Ghaziabad
The district magistrate, in response to the prevailing extreme cold wave and fog conditions, has decided to prolong the closure of educational institutions for classes 1 to 8 in Ghaziabad. The new order stipulates that schools will remain closed on January 19 and 20, 2024, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
Attendance Requirements for Staff
While students stay home, the order emphasizes that principals, teachers, and non-teaching staff must be present in the school during the vacation period. Their presence is crucial for various tasks, including government scheme implementation, U-DISE data management, Manav Sampada portal updates, and BLO work. Strict compliance with these directives is expected.
Noida Schools Maintain Regular Operations
Contrary to Ghaziabad, Noida schools have not received such closure orders. District magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has clarified that schools in Noida will remain open but will follow revised timings. A prior order had adjusted the start time for all Noida schools to 10 am.
