Gmail: You can experience issues if you are in a place where the internet is down, but did you know that you can still use Gmail without an internet connection? Gmail may be used offline, meaning it doesn’t require an internet connection. You may write new messages and search through old emails with this. Read on to know how.
Gmail offline: How to use it?
- Go to mail.google.com.
- Either select Settings from the inbox or click the Cogwheel icon.
- After that, select “See All Settings.”
- Select the “Offline” tab after that.
- The “Enable offline mail” button must then be clicked.
- You will now see new settings in Gmail.
- The days of emails you want to sync with Gmail can be chosen.
- In addition to providing a space-saving choice, Google will indicate how much space is still available on your machine. Moreover, the computer has the ability to erase all offline data.
- Gmail offline will now be enabled on your computer when you select the “Save Changes” option.
It’s important to know that Gmail offline is only supposed to function with Google Chrome when you’re using regular mode, not incognito.
Perks of this feature
According to the Google Support page, users will be able to read, reply, and search Gmail messages even when their device isn’t online thanks to the offline ability. Users must go to mail.google.com in order to use this mode.
