Powertrain details
The new Honda EV SUVs are powered by a 68.8kWh battery that provides 204 horsepower, according to the MIIT files.
Design Details
While sharing nearly identical dimensions, a battery, and a motor, the E:NS2 and E:NP2 have different bumpers and lights. The GAC-built e:NP2 has horizontal DRLs that resemble Honda’s newest Civic, while the Dongfeng-built e:NS2 has angular LED Daytime Running Lamps. Broad horizontal bars that provide a hint of high-tech sophistication to the front and back bumpers of both models are a common feature.
Both models’ overall lengths are only 1 mm different, with the NP2 being longer. The spec sheet also shows that they have the same wheelbase, width, and height (2,735 mm, 1,840 mm, and 1,570 mm, respectively).
Will they come to India?
Honda has not stated whether or not it will import these two models to India. However, Honda has started retooling its Tapukara, Rajasthan, facility in preparation for the Elevate-based EV’s anticipated 2026 Indian launch.
