Google: Formerly known as Bard, Google‘s AI tool is now called Gemini. It’s now simpler than ever to communicate with Google’s AI assistant on your Android phone thanks to the tool’s availability as an app in the Google Play Store. In this article, we will tell you how to use Gemini as your default assistant on Android.
What is Gemini?
Google is working on a family of AI models called Google Gemini. Google’s largest and most adaptable AI model is called Gemini.
Gemini examines information collected from search histories, contextual data, and user behaviour patterns. It then makes use of this information to decipher user intent and offer more precise answers to their questions. Gemini can come up with project ideas, tutor students, provide engineers advice on computer programming, and then produce material for the recommendations a user finds most interesting.
How to replace Google Assistant with Gemini?
Once installed, you can ask Gemini to take the place of Google Assistant by saying “Hey Google” or “OKGoogle.” You can adjust the configuration to have Gemini respond to your queries instead of Google Assistant by doing the following:
- Go to the upper right corner of the Gemini app and select your profile image.
- Then click Settings > Choose Google Digital Assistants.
- Make Gemini your primary digital assistant.
- If you wish to stop Gemini from responding to the commands “Hey Google” and “OK Google,” repeat these instructions and select Google Assistant.
