In a significant move bolstering India’s healthcare infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for AIIMS Rewari on Friday. Under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, India has witnessed remarkable progress, transitioning from the 11th to the 5th largest economy globally over the past decade. In his third term, PM Modi aims to propel India further, aspiring to elevate it to the esteemed position of the third-largest economy worldwide. The inauguration of AIIMS Rewari, among other development projects, underscores the government’s unwavering dedication to fostering growth and well-being across the nation.
Strategic Expansion of AIIMS Network
AIIMS Rewari, situated on 203 acres of land in Majra Bhalkhi village of Haryana, is slated to become the 22nd project under the esteemed AIIMS network. With an estimated cost of ₹1,650 crore, this state-of-the-art facility will boast a 720-bed hospital complex, a medical college with 100 seats, and a nursing college with 60 seats. Additionally, it will feature an AYUSH Block, residential accommodations, hostels, and various other amenities to cater to the diverse needs of patients and medical professionals.
Comprehensive Healthcare Services
The forthcoming AIIMS Rewari aims to deliver comprehensive healthcare services encompassing 18 specialties and 17 super specialties. From cardiology and gastroenterology to neurology and surgical oncology, the institute will provide advanced treatment options to address a myriad of medical conditions. With facilities including intensive care units, emergency and trauma units, modular operation theaters, and diagnostic laboratories, AIIMS Rewari is poised to emerge as a beacon of healthcare excellence.
Empowering Communities Through Healthcare
Aligned with the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, the establishment of AIIMS Rewari underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services. By strategically positioning AIIMS centers across the country, PM Modi envisions empowering communities, particularly in underserved regions, with cutting-edge medical facilities and expertise.
Nationwide Impact
In the coming days, PM Modi is set to dedicate six operational AIIMS centers in Jammu, Rajkot, Bathinda, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, and Rae Bareli, further expanding the reach of advanced healthcare services across the nation. These initiatives epitomize the government’s proactive approach towards transforming India’s healthcare landscape and fostering holistic development.
