Xiaomi 14 Ultra: On Thursday, Xiaomi introduced its flagship device, the 14 Ultra, to the Chinese market. The Chinese tech giant has unveiled the primary specs of their flagship smartphone ahead of its global premiere on Sunday at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. Xiaomi 14 Ultra expected specs
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 silicon chipset powers the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which also has Xiaomi’s Surge T1 communication chip for enhanced Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular performance. For optimum performance, the next Xiaomi smartphone features a dual-vapor chamber cooling system.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features four cameras on its back, all of which have Leica lenses. The smartphone sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with a variable aperture lens set at f/1.63.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also includes a telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom and a 120mm periscope module with 5x optical zoom.
Additionally, Xiaomi’s unique AISP neural chip for improved zoom and picture processing is included with the 14 Ultra.
With a strong aluminium alloy frame (dubbed “6M42”) and Dragon Crystal glass for improved drop protection, the smartphone has a robust “Dragon Armor” design. The phone is protected against liquid and dust thanks to its IP68 classification.
The 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts thin bezels and a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz, providing smoother images when scrolling and gaming. For safe and secure authentication, the smartphone also has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
Expected price in India
The 12GB+256GB model of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra costs 6,499 yuan (about Rs 74,800) in China. Furthermore, the 16GB+1TB and 16GB+512GB models cost 6,999 yuan (about Rs 80,600) and 7,799 yuan (about Rs 89,800), respectively.
