MP News: In a shocking incident that unfolded in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, a family function turned tragic when a man, enraged by his brother’s decision to stop the music and dancing, allegedly murdered him using an axe. The horrific event took place on Friday night in Mauhar village, under the jurisdiction of Kothi police station.
Tragic End to a Family Function
According to the police, the accused, identified as 30-year-old Rajkumar Kol, was apprehended following the murder of his older brother, Rakesh Kol, aged 35. The dispute began during a function organized by Rakesh at his home, where music was being played. Tensions escalated between the two brothers, leading to a fatal confrontation.
Dance Dispute Leads to Murder in Madhya Pradesh
Rupendra Rajput, the officer in charge of Kothi police station, detailed how the altercation spiraled out of control, resulting in Rajkumar attacking Rakesh with an axe, leading to the latter’s immediate death at the scene.
Following the attack, Rajkumar fled the location but was later found by the police hiding near a culvert. He was arrested, and the axe used in the deadly assault was confiscated by the authorities.
This tragic incident has left the community in shock, highlighting the devastating impact that personal disputes can have when they escalate to violence.
