Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Later this year, Samsung plans to launch its newest Galaxy foldable smartphones. There are rumours that the next Galaxy Z Flip 6 may have an Exynos processor rather than a Snapdragon one. In this article, we will tell you all you need to know about this rumour and the Exynos processors.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 rumoured to be powered by Exynos chipset
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 from Samsung may come equipped with the Exynos 2400 SoC, according to tipster @Tech_Reve. This chip, for those who are just now learning, was used in various areas, including India, to power the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus. Although the corporation sees it as a more sensible financial decision, people who are aware of the differences between Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and the Exynos 2400 SoC may find this upsetting.
All you need to know about Exynos processors
For their smartphones, Samsung Electronics developed a line of ARM-based system-on-chips (SoCs) called Exynos. Smartphones from Samsung’s flagship line to its entry-level models all use these chipsets. The Exynos 4210 Dual in the Galaxy S2 series was Samsung’s debut use of the Exynos brand in 2011. The Exynos 2200 is the newest and most well-known CPU.
According to some, Snapdragon chips work better with Android devices, whereas Exynos chips are superior for entertainment and photography.
To find out if your phone has an Exynos processor, search for CPU C in the Google Play Store. Your device is equipped with an Exynos CPU if you see Samsung Exynos.
Expected launch timeline
While a July 10 launch date has been suggested for both devices, Samsung has not yet provided an official confirmation, it is expected that both will be released in July. As the launch date gets near, more information about the gadgets should become known.
