As Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gears up for re-election from the Wayanad seat in Kerala, details of his financial assets have emerged. In the affidavit he submitted while filing his nomination, Rahul declared that his assets are now valued at Rs 20 crore. This shows an increase of around Rs 6 crore, which is approximately 28 percent, compared to his assets five years ago. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul had disclosed that his total assets amounted to Rs 14.85 crore.
Stock Holdings
Gandhi’s stock portfolio showcases investments in various companies, with notable holdings in smallcap Suprajit Engineering, ITC, and ICICI Bank. His holdings in Suprajit Engineering amount to 4,068 shares valued at over Rs 16.65 lakh. Additionally, he holds 3,039 shares in ITC and 2,299 shares in ICICI Bank, valued at Rs 12.96 lakh and Rs 24.83 lakh respectively.
Other stocks in his portfolio include Alkyl Amines, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Deepak Nitrite, Divi’s Laboratories, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Britannia Industries, and Titan Company.
Among his holdings, Pidilite Industries tops the table in market value, followed by Bajaj Finance and Asian Paints. The market value of his shares in Pidilite stands at Rs 43.27 lakh, while those in Bajaj Finance and Asian Paints amount to Rs 35.89 lakh and Rs 35.29 lakh respectively.

Apart from stocks, Gandhi also has investments in mutual funds. His portfolio includes HDFC small cap Reg-G, ICICI Prudential Reg Savings-G, PPFAS FCF D Growth, and HDFC MCOP DP GR. Additionally, he owns sovereign gold bonds valued at Rs 15.21 lakh as of March 15, 2024.

Gandhi’s immovable assets comprise land in Delhi’s Mehrauli, jointly owned with sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and office space in Gurugram valued at over Rs 9 crore. While the agricultural land is mentioned as inherited property, the office space’s ownership details are not specified.
Legal Disclosures
In his affidavit, Gandhi also disclosed the legal cases he is involved in. These include a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) for allegedly disclosing the identity of family members of a rape victim on social media. Additionally, he mentioned defamation cases filed by BJP leaders and a criminal conspiracy case linked to Associated Journals Limited.
