Punjab News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Wednesday that the party will unveil its Lok Sabha candidates for Ludhiana and Jalandhar on April 16. This move comes as part of AAP’s efforts to solidify its presence and expand its influence in Punjab.

AAP has already revealed nine Lok Sabha candidates in Punjab, showcasing a diverse lineup to represent various constituencies. The candidates announced include Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer for Sangrur, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal for Amritsar, Laljit Singh Bhullar for Khadoor Sahib, and others.
In addition, AAP is fielding five cabinet ministers in the upcoming elections, underscoring the party’s commitment to governance and leadership. With the announcement of candidates for Ludhiana and Jalandhar, AAP aims to further consolidate its position and mobilize support from these key constituencies.

Jalandhar, a Scheduled Castes reserved seat, holds significant political importance, encompassing nine assembly constituencies. AAP’s victory in the Jalandhar by-poll, with a substantial margin, indicates the party’s growing strength and popularity in the region.
Similarly, Ludhiana presents another crucial battleground for AAP, given its success in the 2022 assembly elections where the party secured victories in eight out of nine assembly constituencies.
