Coal India
The Ministry of Coal, Government of India, owns Coal India Limited (CIL), a central public sector undertaking in India. Its main office is in Kolkata. It is the world’s biggest producer of coal owned by the government. For the fourth quarter, state-owned Coal India recorded a 26% increase in its consolidated net profit of Rs 8,682 crore. The profit exceeds the Rs 7627 crore ET Now poll prediction.
CEAT
The RPG Group is the owner of the international Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT Limited. CEAT makes tyres for passenger cars, two-wheelers, lorries, buses, light commercial vehicles, earth movers, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and autorickshaws. The company produces about 165 million tyres annually. For the March quarter, CEAT declared a net profit of Rs 102 crore. In the meantime, operating revenue was Rs 2,992 crore.
