Weather Update: For the central regions of India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert. It shows an indication of the possibility of heavy rain and thundershowers. In its most recent weather report, the Indian Meteorological Department predicted thunderstorms and rainy spells over East, Central India as well as the southern section of the country including Mumbai and Kolkata. The weather forecast from IMD indicates that regions of states like Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience another heatwave. The IMD prediction indicates that Delhi NCR will likely have a partially cloudy sky with a chance of light drizzle rain.

According to IMD, there is also very good chance of selected areas of rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Karnataka and Kerala. Over Kutch in Gujarat, hot conditions are expected to predominate. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm watch for few parts of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Additionally, there is a forecast for isolated places over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha, Assam and Rajasthan. The same is predicted for selected places of Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka and Sikkim.
