Pre-Nomination Riverside Reverence
Before submitting his nomination papers, he cruised to the Namo Ghat in the city. He is scheduled to meet at the Rudraksha Convention Centre with BJP workers. Voting on June 1 will take place in Varanasi, where Modi is running for a third term in a row.

The filing of Modi’s nomination will be witnessed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The leaders of the LJP, Apna Dal (S) and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, Omprakash Rajbhar, Apna Dal (S) president Anupriya, and BJP’s NDA allies, Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary, are also anticipated to be present.
Chief Ministers Nitish Kumar (Bihar), Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), Vishnu Deo Sai (Chhattisgarh), Eknath Shinde (Maharashtra), Bhajan Lal Sharma (Rajasthan), Himanta Biswa Sharma (Assam), Nayab Singh Saini (Haryana), Pramod Sawant (Goa), Prem Singh Tamang (Sikkim), and Manik Saha (Tripura) are expected to attend the prime minister’s nomination filing in a show of strength.
Vibrant Roadshow Spectacle
Modi conducted a six-kilometer roadshow through the city on May 13. At 100 locations across 11 zones delineated along the roadshow route, members of various communities, including Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Maheshwari, Marwari, Tamil, and Punjabi, welcomed Modi.
