With Hyderabad needing to chase 215 to book their place in the top 2, Travis Head and Abhishek Tripathi took the crease. Punjab knew they had to take an early wicket because these two are the most destructive batsmen of the tournament.
Arshdeep Singh does that wonderfully when he smacked down Head for a golden duck. A sensational outswinger that left the Australian speechless as he had no answer against the delivery.
It was a perfect-length ball with a curve that tore Head’s defense and smashed his off-stump. Head was perplexed by the delivery and could not believe what had happened to him.

With Head getting out early, Abhishek Sharma took the responsibility into his own hands and scored a brilliant half-century in just 21 deliveries. But what is even more shocking is that it is his slowest half-century this season. What a season he has had so far.
